How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your account and keep it secure
• To show you sky events and visibility data relevant to your location
• To let you save, sync, and revisit your journal entries and sightings across devices
• To power the Universe feed, if you choose to share a sighting publicly

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or third-party marketing.

Third-Party Services

Vyom uses the following services to operate:

• Apple Sign In — for secure authentication
• Supabase — our backend provider, used for authentication, database storage, and file storage
• Apple WeatherKit — for local sky and cloud-cover conditions

These providers process data only as needed to deliver app functionality, under their own security and privacy standards.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This action is irreversible and removes your profile, journal entries, photos, and saved events from our systems.

Your Choices

• You can disable location access at any time in your device's Settings, though this will limit event-visibility accuracy.
• You can choose whether or not to share any Sighting publicly on the Universe feed.
• You can delete your account and data at any time, as described above.

Children's Privacy

Vyom is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of Vyom after changes means you accept the updated policy.
